Forwards: Tie

Mickey Burns, Jersey Hitmen

There were so many great performances this weekend, but few could match the three-goal, three-assist outburst by Mickey Burns. This included a last-second game-winner against the Rockets Hockey Club on Friday, and also the game-winner on Saturday. He also had power play goals in each game.

That two-game effort put Burns - a University of Vermont recruit - at third overall in the league scoring race, and he is also tied for first in game-winning goals (five).

Dominiks Marcinkevics, Islanders Hockey Club

After missing all of October, Markincevics came back with a vengeance, scoring two goals and two assists in two games -  a shutout win over Twin City and a 4-2 loss to the Northern Cyclones. Over nine games played this season, Marcinkevics has five goals and three assists for eight points.

Special recognition also goes out to Bryan Vandelinder and Ryan Gaulin, of the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders, each of whom had four points in a win against the Rockets Hockey Club.

Defense: Cooper Swift, Jersey Hitmen

Fresh off a midnight flight, newly acquired defenseman Swift (‘00/West Hartford, Conn.) scored in his first Hitmen shift. He then assisted on the game-winning goal and added an insurance goal later in the game. Now that is how you make a debut.

Goal: Henry Graham, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders

Graham (‘00/Manhattan, N.Y.) continues to be one of the top goaltenders in the NCDC, and his 37-save performance against the Rockets Hockey Club was proof positive of how he helps his team to victories. He stands first overall in the league in save percentage (.961) and is second in goals against average (1.55).
