Jersey Hitmen Elite, Mark Tomaschek Makes NCAA Commitment

Wayne NJ - The Jersey Hitmen Elite are proud to announce that Captain Mark Tomascheck, from Tom River NJ, has committed to the University of Southern Maine for the 2016/17 season.  Mark finished the year with 10 goals and 13 assists for a career high 23 points.  
 
Mark came to the Hitmen 3 years ago and has developed his game to become an all-round, versatile player.  Head coach Dan Henningson on Mark, “Mark is a big power forward who can play wing, center, kill penalties and play on the power play.  He is a student of the game and is always looking to find ways to get better.  Mark is a leader and a player that every team needs.  It was a pleasure coaching Mark and I know he will be an integral part to the USM program.” 

 

University of Southern Maine is led by Coach Ed Harding and is a member of the New England Hockey Conference.  USM competes against Babson, Norwich, Castleton, St. Anselm, St. Michaels and Massachusetts-Boston.
