Murphy finished the 2015-2016 season with 8 goals, including a two goal game against the Okanagan Eagles on February 15. His 21 points were seventh on the team this season.
“Tim was a great two way player for us this season. His leadership abilities combined with his tenacity made him an integral piece of our team,” said Head Coach Jared Beach. “Tim plays a 200 feet game and it will definitely translate to the next level. We wish Tim the best of luck at UMass Boston.”
Tim will be a great addition to the UMass Boston team in the fall, and the Philadelphia Flyers Junior Hockey Team wishes him well in continuing a fine hockey career.
