Wisconsin Riverkings Capture USPHL Midwest Elite Regular Season Title

The Riverkings traveled to River Falls Friday for a afternoon (make-up) game and came away with a 6-3 victory that clinched their first league Championship as they improved to 34-4-3.
 
The boys continued with a balance scoring attack as 6 different scorers from all four line contributed, led by Adam Peterson three point with goal and two assist, and Michael Kelley also had multiple points with one goal and assist. Goalie Atli Valimarsson picked up the win by stoping 21 shots.
 
The Riverkings travel to University of Minnesota Mariucci Arena Saturday as they take on Forest Lake Laker at 8:45pm to complete the two game weekend.
 
The Riverkings return home to  South Wood County Recreation Center next Friday and Saturday (Feb. 17-18) Vs Blaine Energy as they close out their regular season before hosting Playoffs.
